Toynbee has a bit of sci-fi, horror, fantasy — there are rockets, time travel, monsters, ghosts, serial killers — but there are also non-genre stories with no conector of the supernatural or the fantastical, including one that is just a straight up romance, and some of these rank amongst his best.
