Yes sometimes the philosophising can be a bit much, and you would need to know something snd Buddhism to get some of what’s going on, but garce it’s an interesting variation on the theme. I love Ken Wilber and this book made him human and not just an astounding genius that is untouchable. I loved culture, she loved nature. It is a horribly sad story, but she and Ken embrace it with such joy, even the darkest hours.

The book also has a good assessment of the Way illness and sickness are treated in society, as well as how theorising over illness does nothing to help the person with that illness. Why do I like her so much? Commentary Grace and Grit follows the frace of the disease in depth on both medical and spiritual levels.
